Cassidy sought out Dr. Conn and Dr. Segal to improve the alignment of her upper front teeth so she could get new cosmetic restorations. She had a wedding date set and wanted to reveal her new smile to friends and loved ones on her big day. Dr. Conn and Dr. Segal performed a thorough evaluation and determined that her smile could more ideally complement her face. They determined that her jaw was positioned too far down in her facial complex, causing her to have a “gummy” appearance when she smiled.
Cassidy's treatment was a combination of braces and Invisalign, as well as orthognathic surgery. Cassidy’s smile was repositioned by moving it up to eliminate the excess gum tissue. The braces and Invisalign treatment relieved her crowding and broadened her jaws so that her smile would “pop” more. Her alignment was also corrected.
Following the orthodontic treatment, Cassidy was able to obtain more natural looking cosmetic restorations. Her treatment was completed on time and she proudly showed off her smile at her June 2022 wedding, declaring it “the happiest moment of my life.” Congrats Cassidy and wishing you many years of love, happiness, and (of course) smiles!
